According to Apple's statement, the MacBook Pro M2 line of premium laptops has the longest battery life in MacBook Pro history.
The battery life of the MacBook Pro has increased significantly with the arrival of Apple Silicon chips over the past few years. And now, the M2 Pro and M2 Max series of chips bring even greater energy efficiency to its high-end PCs.
The new MacBook Pro line has been released.
Specifically, the latest 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro laptops come with the new M2 Pro or M2 Max chips that deliver the best performance ever.
Compared to the MacBook line running Intel chips, Apple does not trade high performance for weaker battery life. The new MacBook Pro M2 laptop achieves both longer battery life and increased performance.
MacBook Pro M2 battery life:
● The 16-inch MacBook Pro M2 offers 22 hours of video playback on a single charge
● The 16-inch MacBook Pro M2 has 1 hour longer battery life than the 16-inch MacBook Pro M1
● 14-inch MacBook Pro M2 offers 18 hours of video playback on a single charge
● The 14-inch MacBook Pro M2 has 1 hour longer battery life than the 14-inch MacBook Pro M1
● Both new MacBook Pro models have fast charging (~50% charge in 30 minutes)
With those numbers, Apple claims, the MacBook Pro M2 series offers "the longest battery life on a Mac".
The 16-inch MacBook Pro M2 has up to 22 hours of battery life.
